We aim to despatch all orders within two to five working days. Sorry, but we do not ship orders first and invoice later - all orders must be paid for prior to despatch.
Whilst we try to maintain a good level of stock of the most-requested items, it is not possible for us always to stock all options for every item. Items not in stock at the time you place your order can usually be obtained within one week. However, some items may take up to six weeks to be delivered to us. If there will be a delay in dispatching your goods, you will be notified by email at the earliest opportunity. If you do not wish to wait for an item to arrive in stock you may, of course, cancel your order and receive a full refund.
If you return an item for exchange and we have this item in stock, it will be despatched to you the next working day.

The contents of your order determines the method we use for delivery. At our discretion, a courier service is used for some items. Please let us know if you have any particular delivery requirements of your own.
Please ensure that someone will be available at the delivery address to accept the goods. If you request that items are left without a signature or at an insecure location then this will be done, but at your own risk. Also, if you request that items are delivered to a workplace, please ensure that personal deliveries can be received. Many organisations have restrictions on personal deliveries (especially around Christmas time).
There is provision on the checkout pages for a second delivery address to be given in addition to the invoice address. Please use this option which may, for example, be a work address or a neighbour as this is a much safer option in the case of no-one being at home to receive your delivery. If the courier is unable to deliver your parcel, it may be that you will have to request the courier to attempt another delivery - or you may need to go to the courier's office to pick up your package.
Air mail/courier delivery times are usually up to seven days.
EU customers should note that VAT (value-added tax) will be calculated and added automatically at the final checkout page before payment. For non-EU destinations the cost of the order will be tax (VAT) free.
We cannot be held liable for any Customs charges, local taxes or import duties levied under local regulations. If you are in any doubt about what these may entail, you should consult your local Customs & Excise Office before ordering.
Some items cannot be shipped to certain countries because of, for example, import restrictions.
We attempt to keep all delivery charges to a minimum, with delivery being charged according to the carriage destination.
Delivery charges and timescales are as follows:
- UK £7.00
- Near EU £15.00 (Countries - Republic of Ireland, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Monaco, Luxembourg, Channel Islands (Jersey/Guernsey), Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly)
- Rest of Europe £20.00
- USA & Canada £19.00
- Rest of World £40.00
If you have any special requirements concerning carriage (e.g. registered post) please let us know at the time you place your order since this may affect the cost.
There are no additional shipping charges for UK offshore islands when Royal Mail is used. However, courier services invariably charge extra for delivering to these areas.
Please note that Alasdair Good reserve the right to make changes to the above delivery charges from time to time. These changes will be reflected in the final price calculation at the checkout phase.
